I grew up in the business, bagging fish on weekends and building artificial fish habitat during the summers. Toward the end of high school, I had the opportunity to start going out into the field with our biologists and my father. Learning from them and serving clients directly was exciting. I discovered a passion for transforming fisheries and creating opportunities for friends and family to come together and enjoy time in God’s creation.

Making Memories “Down at the Pond”
Some of my favorite memories growing up were made around ponds — fishing with my dad and grandpa or heading out after school to my Aunt Sharon’s with my best friend in hopes of catching another monster bass. As I began working directly with clients, I realized how important those same opportunities are for so many other families. A well-managed pond is more than just water on a property. It becomes a place where grandparents teach grandkids to fish, where families gather after long weeks of work, and where friendships are strengthened through shared memories.
Being able to help create and improve those experiences is the most rewarding part of this work to me. Through those experiences, I knew I wanted to continue learning so I could one day return to the family business.
Pursuing Fisheries Management at Texas A&M
I always knew I wanted to attend Texas A&M, just as my father did, and in the fall of 2023 that journey began. I committed myself to success in the classroom while building a clientele of pond and lake owners in the area. My goal was to pay my way through college and graduate debt-free.
Throughout college, I was able to directly apply what I was learning in the classroom to the water I was managing in the field. That hands-on experience was key to my success and allowed me to learn an incredible amount in a short time. I graduated ahead of schedule in the spring of 2026 with a degree in Rangeland, Wildlife, and Fisheries Management on the Fisheries track.

Faith, Fisheries and Serving Clients Well
During my time at A&M, my faith matured and became the center of my life. My faith gives meaning to my work and motivates me to ensure every client receives the best possible experience. I am grateful for my time at A&M, but I am excited to begin dedicating my full efforts to the work I love.
Expanding Pond King into the Brazos Valley & North Houston
Over the past few years, I have met many landowners in the area who I felt were underserved by previous management companies. Through those experiences, I recognized a need for Pond King’s approach and standards in the Brazos Valley and North Houston area.
By joining the Pond King team, I look forward to continuing the legacy of doing right by clients and prioritizing quality work over rapid expansion and profit. As Pond King expands into the Brazos Valley and North Houston region, I am excited to serve landowners who are committed to improving their fisheries and creating places where friends and family can spend meaningful time together Down at the Pond.
